CHILDREN/PARENT TESTIMONIALS

Patrick, age 8: Tae Kwon Do teaches me a lot about self defense, courtesy, and loyalty. What I like about Yongin Martial Arts is that the teachers are nice and so are the other people there. My parents tell me I have been more patient, lose my temper a lot less, and have become a better listener since I started at Yongin!

Mother of Will & Jack- ages 4 1/2: The boys show respect for their teacher and follow directions very well. They like their teacher a lot and enjoy learning different movements. I like Yongin because everyone is so friendly. The class moves along smoothly with a lot of activity. We are very happy with our decision to join Yongin Martial Arts. The boys are comfortable here and enjoy coming each week!

Kevin, age 8: I like Tae Kwon Do because I learn new things and get to wear equipment and spar with people. I like doing the sword class. At Yongin we even have special parties!

Mother of Danny, age 5: I like Tae Kwon Do because it has done wonders for my son's coordination and attention to detail! My son loves it at Yongin- he feels welcome and part of the team. His self confidence has flourished! Instructor Anne is teaching him to work hard at something and to take pride in his achievements. The discipline and respect that Dan has learned at Yongin will serve hime well in school, getting along with his peers, and in any team atmosphere.

Mother of Evan and Alexis, ages 12 & 9: Tae Kwon Do offers my children a good physical outlet. It has also helped with discipline and self confidence. Yongin is very inclusive of all children at all levels. I especially like the flexibility of the classes. We love this school!

Robin & Mike, parents of Brooke, age 10: I just wanted to send you an email and let you know how truly educational and helpful your classes have been for Brooke the past year and a half. Mike and I are very happy that we picked your studio to have Brooke learn and grow in martial arts. You are such a talented and educated teacher and we are blessed to know you. You and Master Ahn are important people in Brooke's life and she speaks very highly of you both. We are looking forward to Brooke progressing at Yongin for a long time to come.

Mother of Danny, age 5:   It's done wonders for my son's coordination and attention to detail. My son loves it at Yongin. He feels welcome as part of the team and his self confidence has flourished. Instructor Anne is teaching him to work hard at something and to take pride in his acheivements. The discipline and respect that dan has learned at Yongin will serve hime well in school, getting along with his peers, and in any team atmosphere.

Randy, parent of four children enrolled in the Yongin programs: After a start in a different program with dissapointing results, we did a lot of research and visiting other schools in the area before we decided to become involved at Yongin Martial Arts. We have been very happy with this decision! The combination of American and Korean instructors is a definite asset. The students are held to a high caliber of skills while being taught in a fun, positive manner. The skills and confidence they have gained through their training at Yongin has carried over into their schoolwork and has given them an edge in other team sports! It is a well rounded program with a warm, caring family atmosphere.

Nicole, age 9:  I like Tae Kwon Do because you can learn to protect yourself. It's a lot of fun when you break through a real board at your belt test!

Maureen Villageliu', M.D. & Martial Artist: Speaking as a mother and as a pediatrician, I have found that YONGIN Martial Arts offers an excellent opportunity for children to become more focused and responsible. Tae Kwon Do is a fun way for children to increase their physical fitness and coordination while building their self-esteem.

ADULT TESTIMONIALS

Chris: I originally began TKD classes at Yongin in order to bring some exercise into my normally sedentary lifestyle.  After only a few classes I realized that the benefits were so much more.   Not only have I seen an improvement in my physical conditioning, but also mental, and even social.   More importantly since my son, Logan, has been taking classes at Yongin for several years, this has provided us with an opportunity to become even closer and allowed us to have fun in helping each other attain our new goals.

Cathy: Tae Kwon Do has taught me to believe in myself. Knowing that I can do the kicks, forms, board breaks really gives me a sense of accomplishment! The discipline and respect that it teaches really makes me a better person.

Michele: I joined Yongin Martial Arts a year and a half ago with my two boys as an activity to do together. It is the one activity we have never lost interest in because there is always a new challenge. Knowing how empowered I feel from TKD I know exactly what my children are getting from it. The one surprise was that the other students and their parents would become a big family to us.
